Accounting and business education must stay one step ahead of change

Accounting and business education must stay one step ahead of change – it was with this aim in mind that Dr Tim Schwertner recently took part in an Accounting Education Workshop at TBS Education in Toulouse. The workshop focused on innovative approaches to future-oriented teaching in the fields of accounting and business education. These included, amongst other things, the development of case studies using artificial intelligence, the use of simulations in teaching, the creation of podcasts, and modern teaching concepts such as ludopedagogy – that is, game-based learning methods.
