Workshop “Statistics in Finance, Spatial Statistics and Process Monitoring”

From July 30, 2026 to July 31, 2026, a workshop will be held at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) on the occasion of Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schmid’s 70th birthday and his retirement.

As part of the workshop, several invited lectures are planned, focusing on Prof. Schmid’s main research areas: financial statistics, spatial statistics, and statistical process control.

On July 30, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., a cozy get-together with a buffet is planned.
