Aim of the module (expected learning outcomes and competencies to be acquired):
This advanced module aims to provide participants with an understanding of entrepreneurship frameworks, concepts, and models that are relevant for the entrepreneurial process and its critical reflection. In doing so, this module helps students to embrace and understand the complexity of entrepreneurship and to develop a multifaceted entrepreneurial knowledge landscape. In addition to the theoretical knowledge gained, the participants will learn to collect and process data on real life entrepreneurs and their businesses in order to write their own case study. Overall, the module positions entrepreneurship as an important way of making a living, as well as a "spirit" that permeates all parts of social life.

Contents of the module:
The entrepreneurial knowledge landscape of the seminar is differentiated into seven entrepreneurial knowledge fields (entrepreneurial individuum, team, leadership, organization, strategy, ecosystems, and society). For each field a total of 6 scientific journal articles will be presented in the form of pre-recorded videos by the participants. During the session the participants will shortly present their visual summaries. Afterwards, the articles and their relation to the knowledge field will be discussed in the group. On two weekends the participants will learn techniques on how to collect (e.g. conducting interviews, web search) and process data. Furthermore, the participants will learn how to write and structure a case study with the help of a writing fellow.

Teaching and learning methods:
Seminar; individual study for preparation and follow-ups; group work
