- Paper (15-18 pages) (60%)
- Presentation of assigned topic and participation in in-class discussions (40%)
- Preliminary presentation of paper outline and assigned topic (compulsory)

Aim of the module (expected learning outcomes and competencies to be acquired):
- autonomous and systematic literature research on current topics in HRM and organization studies
- independent procession of theoretical issues and critical reflection thereof
- development of independent research question and line of reasoning on current topics in HRM and organization studies
- Structured and comprehensible written and oral presentation of complex theories and concepts
- Cross-connection, comparison and integration of theoretical concepts
- Integration of given topics into the larger context of management science

Contents of the module:
Current topics of Human Resource Management, organization studies and management theory such as organization theory, leadership, organizational culture, different forms of work and working, new and best organizational practices, change etc.

Seminar, colloquium sessions, presentations, discussions

Literature (compulsory reading, recommended literature):
Depending on current topic
