Teaching

The course program of the chair consists of the basic course on production and logistics, advanced lectures and a seminar for the bachelor program. It covers topics of production and operations management, logistics, and supply chain management. The teaching goal of the course program is providing methods for solving of practical managerial problems on the one side and giving insight into the relation of operational, tactical, and strategic decisions on the other side.

The courses for the master program are characterized by the close cooperation with the Chair for Business Informatics within the track “Information & Operations Management”. The courses deal with actual problems of operations and supply chain management and IT-based planning and problem solving concepts are discussed.
