Assignment / Accreditation of study and examination performances during a transition to the new subject-specific regulation (FSO)

Master program IBA

  • In general, T-Modules and Master Seminars, which are for example assigned to the track FACT in the old FSO, are assigned to track FACT in the new FSO as well. The same applies for T-Modules and Master Seminars in the tracks FINE, IOM and M & M.

  • E-Modules in the old SPO will be counted as T-Modules of the FINE track in the new FSO. Please note that the new FSO is designed more flexible in terms of function-oriented specialist training (study options [1a] and [1b] ). According to the new FSO, the study options [1a] and [1b] require Track and Research Modules of at least 60 credits (out of the total 78 credits), including Research Modules of at least 12 credits in one track. In contrast to this, the old SPO required for the study options [1a] and [1b], that all Track Modules must be completed in only one track.

  • Courses offered as G-Modules in the old SPO, will be counted as T-Modules in the new FSO (see below).

  • The following table provides information on the general allocation of the modules for a change from the "old" SPO in the "new" FSO of the Master Program in International Business Administration.
