Aim of the module (expected learning outcomes and competencies to be acquired):
Participants will learn about the most common quantitative analytical techniques that are used in management and marketing research. They will learn how to perform statistical analysis in SPSS. They will further learn how to evaluate and interpret quantitative analysis procedures and results that are performed by scholars and by research institutions (e.g., market research companies).

Contents of the module:
- Research process, research designs, sampling,  sampling, measurement and scaling
- Data collection and data preparation
- Descriptive data analysis
- Hypothesis testing
- Multivariate data analysis (regression analysis, analysis of variance, factor analysis, cluster analysis)

Lectures, tutorials

Special features (e.g. percentage of online-work, practice, guest speaker, etc.):
Students will be assigned to one of the tutorial groups during the first class meeting. That is, if students want to participate in the tutorial, they must attend the first class meeting. Late assignments are not possible. No exceptions will be made.
