European Economic Integration (Master)
Description:The course teaches core elements of economics of integration with a focus on the European Union. It covers relevant micro and macroeconomic theories as well as econometric methods to analyse economic integration empirically. On this basis the course discusses the current challenges the European Union faces such as Brexit and the Euro crisis. Primary aim of the course is to provide students with a solid knowledge of the workings of economic integration. Secondary aim is to give students a solid methodological base to build upon in subsequent economics courses.
