The European University Viadrina shows how it works. Imagine that you are a baker. Your cakes are excellent - but the sales are bad. What is the reason for this? What happens if the price is increased? Can you earn money also with free cakes? What sounds like difficult economic decisions is actually a new school project of the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder): the "Assignment of the month", an exercise that links the economic thinking with mathematics.
