Contents of the module:
All men are born equal – concerning their human rights. They are not equal concerning health, intelligence, etc., their environment and – as a consequence – their income. What is a fair income distribution from a normative point of view? Which preferences do people have concerning income distributions? Is happiness determined by absolute or by relative levels of income? How do high and low inequality societies differ in other respects?
