Aim of the module (expected learning outcomes and competencies to be acquired):
Experiments have become a useful method to study economic questions and allow testing the validity of theories. Students get to know different classes of experiments and their implications for economic theory. Analyzing the design and procedures of experiments enables students to critically evaluate the findings of these studies and the conclusions drawn for economic theory.
By assisting in current experimental research projects students learn more about the research methods in this field.
