Written seminar paper (15 pages) as well as the presentation and discussion of journal articles

Aim of the module (expected learning outcomes and competencies to be acquired):
Students should achieve capabilities to analyse scientific perspectives and problems in reference to relevant theories and models. Furthermore they should learn the scientific approach of argumentation and rationale in a written paper, presentation as well as in discussion. The seminar serves as a fundamental basis for the bachelor thesis.
The seminar focuses on the transfer of key qualifications. By working independently students should understand complex problems, find well-reasoned solutions for dicussion and advocate them in class.
Contents of the module:
This seminar refers to current questions in entrepreneurship and management research, which are crucial for the practices of organisations. Moreover, essential knowledge of academic work (finding literature, writing, academic presentation and discussion) is introduced and put into practice.
