Prerequisites: The course is restricted to 36 students. Preference will be given to motivated students who have already attended one of our classes successfully. Please apply via email until 9th April 2021 to pewoma@europa-uni.de, stating which of our courses you have already attended, which grade you achieved and why you are particularly interested in this course. Previous participation in our course "Qualitative Methods" is is an advantage, as the participants will have to conduct their own qualitative research project throughout the course.

Aim of the module (expected learning outcomes and competencies to be acquired):
The aim of the course is to introduce students to different kinds of worlds of work by discussing theoretical and empirical insights into the relation of the individual, work and organization. In completing the course, students will learn how to bring together theory and practice as well as to independently conduct an empirical study.
Contents of the module:
Theories about work, trends and tendencies in modern worlds of work, different forms of work, special work arrangements, qualitative methods
