Aim of the module (expected learning outcomes and competencies to be acquired):
Aim of the course is deepening the knowledge to problems arising in production planning and making students familiar with state-of-the-art approaches and recent research results in that area. Selected topics from operational and tactical production planning, lot-sizing, scheduling, material requirements planning, robust planning, hierarchical planning, production planning and control, etc. will be discussed.
